Eligibility

To be eligible, you must nominate a supervisor and host laboratory located in the Chemistry (68) or Molecular Biosciences (76) Building in The University of Queensland's School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences (SCMB), for enrolment in the BSc(Hons),  BAdvSc(Hons), or BBiotech(Hons) program.

The offer of scholarship is conditional upon maintenance of your GPA above 6 in your last semester.

Selection will be based on:

  • Cumulative Grade Point Average
  • Vision for your career in Chemistry or Molecular Bioscience or Biotechnology research

Submit an Honours Scholarship Application

Applications close:

For commencement in Semester 2 2017, applications close Monday July 10.

For commencement in Semester 1 2018 onwards, the following closing dates apply:

  • 1 week after semester 1 grade release (for honours commencing in semester 1 the following year)
  • 1 week after semester 2 grade release (for honours commencing in semester 2 the following year)

2.  Other scholarships

AISRF Chemistry Honours Scholarship

The Honours Scholarship ($5,000) is directly associated with an Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF) project, which aims to develop advanced organic materials (i.e. organic semiconductors) and devices. The project is at the frontier of the multidisciplinary field of organic-inorganic opto-electronics and has the potential for impact across a broad range of science and technology.
