The School of Chemistry & Molecular Biosciences is UQ's provider of graduate studies in Chemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Parasitology.  Around 200 postgraudate students enrol in the School's courses each year.

Students benefit from modern, flexible approaches to learning, award-winning laboratory facilities and dedicated study rooms.  On-line resources at course websites assist students to access information, promote discussion of course material, take quizzes and trial tests and complete group work.  These e-Learning resources value-add to the lecture, tutorial and practical class program.  A student-organised mentoring scheme is available to postgraduate coursework students of the School - details are available at this Facebook page: UQ Molecular Biotechnology Students Club (UQ-MBioSC).

Opportunities exist for qualifiying students to complete  their project via an industry placement - details available from the coordinator of the Major Research Project course in each program.
