Apply for honours
To apply for honours, you must choose a project topic, find a supervisor and then fill in an application.
To be accepted, you'll need to meet certain entry requirements, including prerequisites and English language requirements.

Once your application has been processed, you'll be notified of the outcome and, if successful, you'll receive instructions on how to complete your enrolment.

Apply for BSc(Hons)
Visit Study at UQ for detailed information about the BSc(Hons) program, including entry requirements and how to apply online.
Apply for BAdvSc(Hons)
As you approach your fourth year, visit Study at UQ for detailed information about the BAdvSc(Hons) and then apply directly to our School.
To apply, send your student number, supervisor's name, location, email address and proposed project title to our honours team at enquiries@scmb.uq.edu.au.
Apply for BBiotech(Hons)
As you approach your fourth year, visit Study at UQ to read detailed information about the BBiotech(Hons) program and then apply directly to our School.
To apply (for students currently enrolled in Program Code: 2375), download and complete our application form (PDF, 200.5 KB) and then submit it to our School Administration Office, Chemistry Building (Building 68), Level 3, or email a scanned copy to our Biotechnology team at enquiries@scmb.uq.edu.au.
