Speaker: A/Prof Paul Dawson (Mater Research Institute)
Bio: A/Prof Paul Dawson is a medical research team leader at Mater Research Institute at UQ. Paul completed a PhD in the Department of Medicine at the PA Hospital. He has extensive experience with clinical genetic screening and biomedical research, with a particular focus on the physiological roles and regulation of sulfate. His research is leading toward a treatment for reducing disability in infants born premature.

Seminars cover all aspects of chemistry and molecular biosciences and are delivered by visiting national and international academics. PhD completion seminars are also incorporated into the program.
