Peter provides technical and scientific support to researchers in the area of mass spectrometry and associated techniques, under supervision of the Mass Spectrometry Facility Manager. Provides expert advice regarding quantitative mass spectrometry for small molecules. Maintains instruments and organises external support where required. Provides troubleshooting help to staff and student clients. Supports access and maintenance needs for the School’s cryotanks. Manages the Elemental Analysis facility including client relations. Manages the School’s Circular Dichroism system. Contributes to funding applications to support the purchase of new equipment for facilities as well as other general school scientific equipment as needed. Serves as Deputy Chief fire warden for Bldg 76. Serves as certified IATA dangerous goods shipper for the School. Assist in QBB maintenance when needed.
