Helen is responsible for the fee-for-service Sequencing Facility in the school. Helen oversees the Sequencing Team, operating both Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms with options for sample extraction and method development available. The Sequencing Facility works closely with our Australian Centre for Ecogenomics (ACE) and is focused on providing high quality sequencing data for researchers across UQ and beyond, with an emphasis on microbial projects. The Sequencing Facility welcomes enquiries from anyone at UQ or elsewhere looking to undertake microbial sequencing projects.
