Example project biotechnology in agriculture
Students undertaking this project will carry out market research, in order to assess likely demand for the proposed new biotechnology course “Introduction to Biotechnology in Agriculture”. The market research will inform which parts of the world such course demand is likely to come. The project will entail development of a questionnaire to be used in a market research survey. It will also entail literature based research on likely areas of demand, and investigation of other similar courses that are offered at other institutions around the world. The project will also develop skills in questionnaire design, implementation of a survey, statistical analysis of data, and data presentation in oral and written modes.
